Privacy Policy
How ShiftGop uses and protects information · Last updated 21 October 2026.
Who operates ShiftGop
ShiftGop is operated by Cezar Daniel Grosu, trading as Cezar Digital, in the United Kingdom. Contact: grosucezardaniel@gmail.com. This is an independent service, not operated by Gophr Limited.
This privacy notice applies to the ShiftGop Android app, our related website and first-party subscription/account services. Gophr and Google operate their own services under their own notices.
Information processed
- ShiftGop account: email address, Firebase user identifier, verification/login status, account-related security records. Firebase Authentication manages sign-in credentials; we do not store plaintext ShiftGop passwords.
- Paid plans: Google Play subscription product, purchase token or token hash, renewal/expiry status, entitlement and free-usage counters. Payment-card information is handled by Google Play, not ShiftGop.
- Routing: addresses, location coordinates, route stops and progress used for planning; these are primarily stored on your device. Address lookup text and coordinates can be transmitted to our lookup service and Google Maps Platform.
- Courier connection: session and necessary authentication metadata for your independently maintained Gophr account; requests for eligible offers and acceptance actions are sent to Gophr. Do not provide patient information.
- Android notifications: if you choose to enable notification access, ShiftGop examines relevant Gophr notifications for job offers; unrelated notifications are not part of the intended processing.
- Parcel labels: photos selected by you are processed by on-device ML Kit text recognition. The app is designed to extract addresses rather than patient names or medicine details. Avoid uploading or retaining sensitive content.
- Device/security: installation identifiers, app verification signals, security logs, IP address, app/device metadata and timestamps can be processed by Firebase App Check, Google Play Integrity, our service and their infrastructure.
Why we use information
- Provide login and manage subscriptions and use allowances: necessary to perform our contract with users.
- Plan delivery routes, search addresses, deliver enabled app features and send user-selected alerts: service provision and legitimate service operation.
- Secure services, prevent abuse, maintain technical logs, detect errors and meet legal duties: legitimate interests and legal obligations, subject to proportionality.
- Where Android consent is requested for sensitive optional permissions, you may decline or revoke it in Android Settings; relevant features will then stop functioning.
Recipients and international transfers
Data may pass through Google Firebase, Google Play Billing, Play Integrity, Google Maps Platform, our cloud infrastructure, and Gophr when you link a courier session. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertising data brokers. Service providers may process data in other countries subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. See their privacy policies for independent handling.
Retention, deletion and security
Stored account and membership records are retained while your ShiftGop account is active and then deleted or de-identified on a verified deletion request, subject to limited records required for disputes, fraud prevention, tax/accounting or legal duties. Local route and app settings are generally kept on the device until deleted or app data is cleared. We do not intentionally keep raw parcel-label images on the server.
Connections use encrypted HTTPS where applicable, and Android app-private storage and platform security features are used. No internet service can offer absolute security. You can cancel a Google Play subscription independently; deleting a ShiftGop account does not automatically cancel Google billing.
Your UK GDPR rights
Subject to applicable law you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to relevant processing, and withdraw consent where used. Contact us using the email below. We may verify that you control the account. We aim to respond within the statutory period (normally one month). You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children and policy changes
ShiftGop is intended for adult professional couriers and is not directed to children. We update this notice when our service or processors change. Any significant updates will be available on this page before the relevant features are used.
